So… who are you?

I’m Mike Tigas and I’m a Web developer at The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington. I work on building site features and occasionally dabble with data analysis and computer-assisted reporting.

Most of my work happens in Python/Django, though I also have experience with iOS application development and GIS/mapping tools.

I work freelance, too. Clients and brands I’ve worked with include: The National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting (for census.ire.org), KOMU-8 TV (NBC affiliate; Columbia, Mo.), Farm Bureau Financial Services, and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. For more details on projects I’ve worked on, visit my portfolio.
